BROWS PRE-CARE

During your procedure, you should experience only very minimal pinpoint bleeding. You can help avoid any excessive bleeding by following these pre-care instructions:

- DO NOT DRINK alcohol, coffee or caffeinated drinks for 24 hours prior to the procedure.

- DO NOT TAKE any blood thinning medications for four days before your appointment (aka: Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Ibuprofen, etc)

- PLEASE discontinue VITAMIN E/KRILL/OMEGA-3/FISH OIL for one week prior to your appointment.

- NO tanning/excessive sun exposure two weeks prior to the procedure or for two weeks after it.

- DO NOT have any peels/microdermabrasion/IPL two weeks prior the procedure.

- DO NOT APPLY topical Vitamin A/ Retinol for one week prior to the procedure, and until eyebrows are fully healed two weeks after it.

- DO NOT WAX eyebrows for two weeks prior to the procedure.

- IF YOU get your eyebrows tinted regularly, do so 2-3 days prior to the procedure.

- WASH YOUR HAIR before the treatment, as your brows should not come into contact with water for 4-7 days afterwards.

Plan around your schedule/holidays/events.

- DO NOT schedule if you have an upcoming event that could conflict with your healing. You will need between five and seven days to heal.

Expect an additional "perfecting" touch-up 6/8 weeks after the first appointment (the perfecting session is free).

COVID-19 VACCINE - make sure you won't have your vaccine two weeks BEFORE and two weeks AFTER the procedure.

BROWS AFTERCARE

THE DAY OF THE TREATMENT

For the first three hours after treatment, wipe the area with the gauze and saline provided in your aftercare kit. This is a crucial step, as wiping the lymph fluid will prevent any crusting, which can lead to scabbing. Do this ever 30 minutes and again before going to bed at night.

THE NEXT 7 DAYS

WASH: Always wash your brows outside the shower. The water temperature could be to high and you want to keep them wet for no longer then twenty seconds. Wash your hands and use your fingertips to gently rub the area in a smooth motion following hair growth for 10 seconds. Make sure that all soap is rinsed away with lukewarm water. DO NOT use any other cleansing products.

DRY: Dab dry with a paper towel. Allow your brows to AIR DRY for at least 5 minutes.

PROTECT: Apply the smallest amount of the balm provided with a cotton tip. Never over-apply the protective balm. Always make sure your eyebrows are fully dry prior this step. The balm should not be noticeable on the eyebrows.

  • DO NOT USE growth serums for a month prior to your treatment, and don't start again until treatment has fully healed.

  • Wear a hat when outdoors.

  • Once fully healed, protect your eyebrow with SPF.

  • Avoid laser, chemical treatments, peelings, Retin-A or Glycolic acid on the area.

  • Avoid picking, peeling, or scratching to prevent scarring or removal of the pigment.
